Jack Grealish says becoming a dad is child’s play compared to being manager.

star after partner Sasha Attwood gave birth to baby girl Mila Rose last month. But says trying to choose between all the attacking players will keep England interim boss awake at night.

When asked whether Carsley will have more sleepless nights than him, Grealish said: “Yeah, I think he'll have a lot more I reckon with the players that he's got to pick from! But, yeah, obviously had a little girl.

“It was the best moment of my life, as you can imagine. I don't really know how to explain it. You feel so many good moments in your life, but that just tops everything. “I got the train to London and then it happened on the Friday afternoon. I stayed there obviously for two or three hours, and then I had to get a plane all the way to . I arrived at probably gone midnight at the hotel and, yeah, I was playing the next morning at 12.30pm at Newcastle away. It was an unbelievable 24 hours.”

Grealish, 29, has enjoyed one of the happiest moments of his life on the back of a career-low after missing out on the Euros last summer. But the England midfielder insists that he still believes made a mistake in not taking him to Germany and that has given a point to prove under Carsley.

Grealish told the : “I'll be honest with you, I didn't really agree with it. And I still think that, yeah, I should have gone but obviously it wasn’t meant to be. Yeah, it was difficult, but then as soon as I come back into pre-season then with Man City I knew that I had to have a good season and come back stronger for it.

“I feel like at the moment I have done. I think when you’re in the situation you’ve got to try and flip it into a positive and do what you can to come back stronger and come back better for it.

“I’m obviously still working towards that now. I think since Lee has been given the job he's been brilliant and, like I said, I can't speak highly enough of him.”

Meanwhile, is a major doubt for England on Thursday night after being the only player to miss training at St George’s Park on Tuesday. That could open the door for Ollie Watkins or Dom Solanke to face in the Nations League.
