Fortnite down?

Fortnite server downtime will begin at 9am GMT / 4am EST / 1am PST today, Wednesday, November 13, as confirmed by

from the @FortniteStatus account, with the downtime happening at the same time across all platforms. But, matchmaking is always disabled around 30 minutes before this time so, essentially, you won't be able to get into a new Fortnite match from 8.30am GMT / 3.0am EST / 12.30am PST.

We expect the Fortnite server downtime to last for approximately five hours, as this is how long the lasted, so don't be surprised if Fortnite is down until 2pm GMT / 9am EST / 6am PST today. But, it's always worth trying to jump back in every hour or so, as the downtime could end sooner depending on the size of the update.

What's new in Fortnite update 32.10

Once the game is live, and we don’t have to flap around worrying if Fortnite is down or not, there will, of course, be fresh content waiting for us. We don’t have any patch notes yet from Epic Games, apart from the , but the game is poised to get plenty of new content, as confirmed by the , including the arrivals of Ice Spice and Juice WRLD.

We don't know exactly when this content will drop officially, but there's always the usual selection of leakers to go to for this info, such as @ShiinaBR, who revealed in a

that Ice Spice is coming to Fortnite on Thursday, November 14, and the content will include:

  • 2 Outfits (1,500 V-Bucks each)
  • 2 Emotes (500 V-Bucks each)
  • 2 Jam Tracks (unknown Price)
  • 1 Microphone (800 V-Bucks)
  • Full bundle: 2,800 V-Bucks

And although there was much excitement around Kicks, the new cosmetic type that puts shoes onto existing skins, has confirmed via

that their introduction has been delayed indefinitely due to a "visual issue", although you can still unlock them, you won't be able to use them in-game, which is a major drag. There’s likely to be a lot more to expect later on, though, so keep your eyes peeled and jump into the game when you’re able to, after downtime has ended, to see the latest goodies to take advantage of.
