Inside Michelle Keegan's dramatic face transformation as she looks unrecognisable from soap days

Michelle Keegan shot to fame as fiery barmaid Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street - but 17 years on and some long-time soap fans reckon she's 'unrecognisable'.

The actress first set foot on the cobbles in 2008, as a fresh-faced 20-year-old just starting out in a career that would catapult her to household name status. As bolshy Tina, Stockport-born Michelle brought Corrie viewers some of the Street's most memorable moments, from a heartbreaking surrogacy storyline to a plot that saw her dad Joe (Reece Dinsdale) drown during a disastrous attempt to fake his own death.

And when Tina met her own grisly end - after being shoved from the balcony of the Builder's Yard by dodgy Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) - Michelle's already stellar career continued to skyrocket. The 37-year-old, who is now married to former TOWIE star Mark Wright, has appeared in a number of hit shows since her Corrie days, including Our Girl, Brassic, and Fool Me Once.

In a recent Instagram vid, NHS midwife and aesthetics practitioner Beth Drew, shared her suspicions that Michelle has undergone cosmetic procedures to plump up her lips and contour her chin.

Addressing her 4,000 followers, Worcestershire-based Beth said: "Michelle Keegan is a fantastic example of aesthetics treatments done right. Most people look at Michelle Keegan and think, 'Wow she is naturally so beautiful', and absolutely she is. But there's not really too much that's natural about it. However, it does look natural because it's been done really well."

Beth, who goes by the username @drew.aesthetics_ added: "In my professional opinion, I think she has had Botox - especially around the forehead and the eye - just to open them up a little bit. You can see that in the before photos, her eyes were slightly hooded and in the after photos they are not.

"So Botox can really lift the eyebrows and smooth out any fine line and wrinkles. I think she may have had a nose job or a non-surgical rhinoplasty using dermal filler."

Michelle has previously vehemently denied having had any cosmetic procedures, even ruling out ever going under the knife over fears of something going wrong. Speaking with the Sunday Express back in 2018, Michelle said: "I like the fact people point out that they think I've had a nose job. They think I've had new cheeks, a new chin - but I haven't and I don't think I ever would, if I'm being honest. I'm scared it would go wrong!"

She added: "People always say, 'Have you or haven't you?' But it's my business. It's my face. So what if I have or haven't? I don't read it when people speculate about it."
