Horror video shows gunmen storm bar and kill 10 in 'brutal' shooting at tourist hotspot

A video has captured the moment a group of gunmen arrived at a bar before they killed ten people at a tourist hotspot in Mexico.

Shocking footage recorded the four attackers as they pulled up in a pickup truck at Los Cantaritos bar in the district of Santiago de Querétaro, which is around 120 miles northwest of City. The suspects hopped out of the vehicle at around 9.30pm and appeared to be carrying massive, long-range. Harrowing footage from inside the venue showed the gunmen open fire at people who were eating.

Frightened diners could be seen screaming and dropping to the floor as they attempted to find cover under tables. The gang were there for a few minutes before they left the bloodied bar. Emergency services pronounced ten people dead at the scene and reported at least seven injured, said the city's public security department chief Juan Luis Ferrusca.

Investigators are still looking for the other suspects. Querétaro Mayor Felifer Macías vowed to find the and tweeted: “We are in permanent coordination with the State Government Security System, corporations of the metropolitan area and the State Attorney General's Office, to find those responsible for the events that occurred tonight in the city. We are assisting the victims and collaborating in the investigations. The municipal government is using all its strength to protect Querétaro.”
