Emmerdale lines up 'new enemy' for Kim Tate as mystery character targets her

favourite Kim Tate faces fresh horror next week, as one character seems to be targeting her on the soap.

The character is currently locked in a battle with her ex Will Taylor following their split. His cheating led to her taking revenge a few weeks back, and now things remain frosty.

Both Will and Kim are trying to be there for Will's daughter Dawn Taylor amid her young son's ill health and their money woes, which have led to Dawn's partner Billy Fletcher taking part in dodgy fights for cash. But this drama aside, Kim makes a decision next week about Will, teasing a possible exit.

She has enough and offers him a huge amount of money to get out of her life as quickly as possible. Will is hoping they can fix things and they can attend a mediation, but Kim is having none of it.

The battle then heats up with Will keen to get his hands on some money it seems, telling Dawn she won't have to worry about the finances going forward. But it's not just Will who is possibly after Kim, and she may need to watch her back.

Spoilers for next week reveal that a hooded figure heads to Home Farm and attempts to steal Kim’s car. It seems they are thwarted, but either way they're long gone when Kim goes to confront them.

It isn't long before Kim finds out who the culprit is though, and she means business. Kim confronts the mystery character and soon has an ultimatum for them. But who is it, and what does Kim offer them?

Will it be enough for them to stay away and stop targeting Kim? There's no mention of who the person is in the spoilers so it could be anyone.

What they are after remains to be seen, so is it money? Or are they targeting Kim as some sort of revenge? The reasons would change the suspects in the frame, while fans can see exactly who it is when the episodes air next week.

It will certainly be an interesting twist on things given the current drama, and we wonder where it will go from here. Nothing else is said about this particular storyline for the rest of the week, but we imagine that post-reveal of the thief, there will be plenty more drama for Kim and the character involved so stay tuned!
