EastEnders icon Tamzin Outhwaite strips to tiny bikini after splitting from boyfriend

EastEnders legend looked amazing as she shared new images of herself in a swimsuit during a girls' wellness trip to .

The 53-year-old actress and her friend, TV presenter Lucy Alexander, visited Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som in Al Ruwais - and she updated her fans on social media. In pictures she shared on , Tamzin posed in a plunging swimsuit while catching some rays.

In another snap, Tamzin switched into a black zip-up swimsuit for a refreshing sea dip. She captioned her post: "Kicking off my celebrations with a retreat…. Had the best few days at Zulal Wellness Resort."

She continued: "My longest serving bestie @lucyalexandertv (38 years of friendship) has always been dubious about my love of retreats, but I have converted her! We laughed, cried, ate our way through many exquisite menus & learned a lot! I can honestly say I had the best massages, I tried floating meditation, Lucy had her tastebuds replaced and however tree hugging , w**** , this sounds… I feel more connected to the earth and myself.

"Lucy didn't consume any Percy Pigs or wine, and I fell a little bit more in love with her every day…What a treat to have had that time together in the most peaceful, nurturing, loving setting. That spa is not bad either!"

Her friend Lucy commented: "It was a very special 5 days I didn't know I needed...,I will never look at a percy pig in the same way again. thank you TamZEN for guiding me."

Many fans wished Tamzin a happy birthday while congratulating her on her looks. One wrote: "Happy Birthday Tamzin! You look amazing! Skin is glowing! You deserve it all xxx" Another added: "You always manage to look terrific whatever you do!!"

One more commented: "Looks like you've converted her to retreat life in style! What a beautiful place to celebrate your birthday and a beautiful friendship." And someone else said: "What an absolute beauty."

The girls' getaway comes after Tamzin recently revealed the idea of dating again "fills her with horror". Speaking on the Suddenly Single podcast, she shared that she's been single for a few months and is currently focusing on herself.

Following the end of her relationship with Tom and the breakdown of her marriage ten years earlier, she opened up on how she feels it's time to explore life as a single woman, reported. In September, Tamzin said she is happy being single for the first time in her life - and admitted she "really likes" being on her own.

Speaking to The , Tamzin said: "There has been no acrimonious ending; we've moved on to a friend zone. We are still really great mates, which is nice." Tom and Tamzin met at a yoga class in 2017 and he seemed a perfect match for the former EastEnder.

He was her first serious relationship after her difficult 2014 divorce from Lucifer and Miranda star Tom Ellis, the father of her children Flo, 16, and 12-year-old Marnie. The 45-year-old, who now lives in the States with his new wife Meaghan and daughter Dolly, cheated on Tamzin with co-star Emile De Ravin while filming US series Once Upon a Time.

Her new, younger Tom had always been credited with helping her mend her broken heart and they had even moved in together. They were still an item when she filmed The Wives in Malta in April – but in September she hinted at a possible split, saying she did not need the "commitment of another human being."

But she told us finding herself single again feels different this time around. "Maybe before now, I've been single but not happy," she admitted. "But I'm quite happy. And being single and happy is a really lovely place to be. And that can only happen with life experience."
