Christina Aguilera sparks concern with dramatic weight loss as she celebrates milestone

Christina Aguilera sparked concern among fans as she revealed her tiny frame following her dramatic weight loss.

The 43-year-old was at workout studio Barry's Bootcamp in West Hollywood on Friday, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her self-titled debut album. The mother-of-two rocked a black bodysuit with thigh-high boots for the event, and her appearance was filmed and shared on social media, prompting an outpouring of concern from her fans. Christina has spoken publicly about her body over the years, but her petite frame was highlighted in her skintight outfit, which led fans to claim she’d taken her weight loss “too far”.

“She looked so good but now I’m a little concerned because she’s getting too skinny,” one tweeted, as another agreed, as they suggested Christina had been taking diabetes medication to shed the pounds. “Ozempic is not what a girl wants or what a girl needs,” one quipped. Others hit out at her appearance at the workout studio, as they claimed she’d “never worked out” to lose the weight. “Way too skinny now!!! Looked much better with some weight on her imo,” one wrote.

However, other fans leapt to her defence, and insisted she looked great, despite the negative comments on social media. “Wow she looks INCREDIBLE,” one fan commented, as another added: “Christina Aguilera even looks good in normal lighting when she's not on stage or on a set. She does have the bobble head ozempic thing going on but still looks amazing.” Another fumed at the trolls, and suggested they’d be doing the same as Christina if they had put on weight. “Christina has always been small until she had her kids. She didn’t want the weight so she got rid of it. What's the problem? If I gained a bunch of weight I’d do the same s**t,” they fired.

While one fan simply stated: “I know it must be hard for you to be a decent human being, but try to stop talking about other people's bodies.” Christina has spoken out about the hate she has faced over the years regarding her appearance, and in August, she discussed being judged for her body size with Glamour magazine. “I have a maturity now where I just don’t give a f*** about your opinion. I’m not going to take it on,” she explained. “It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people’s opinions of me are not my business.”

She said her recent weight loss had nothing to do with focusing on “being skinny”, and she said her mental health had been impacted due to being targeted for her petite frame when she burst onto the music scene 25 years ago. “When you’re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you’re in your 20s. I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, ‘Oh, she’s getting thicker.’ Then I had industry people: ‘They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager’,” Christina sadly shared.
